Address & Connectivity
Getting around from Sora
By MRT: Sora is situated approximately 1.2 km from both Lakeside MRT (EW26) and Chinese Garden MRT (EW25) on the East-West Line. Residents can take a quick 3-stop direct neighbourhood bus connection from Yuan Ching Road to either station. From Lakeside, Jurong East (the regional hub) is two stops away. The upcoming Jurong Region Line (JRL), targeted for completion in 2029, will add a second line serving the area, and the Cross Island Line (CRL), due 2032, will add a third — dramatically improving long-distance connectivity.
By Car: The Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) is accessible in under 5 minutes, connecting drivers to the CBD (approximately 20–25 min off-peak), Clementi, and the West Coast. The Pan Island Expressway (PIE) is also within reach via Jurong East, providing access to the North and East.
By Bus: Multiple bus services run along Yuan Ching Road and the surrounding Jurong West area, connecting to Jurong East Interchange, Boon Lay, and Clementi.

Green Space & Recreation
Living beside 90 hectares of parkland
Sora's most distinctive locational advantage is its immediate adjacency to Jurong Lake Gardens — Singapore's largest nature park in the heartlands, spanning 90 hectares. With 300m of frontage directly overlooking the Gardens, approximately 78% of Sora's units face the lake or garden landscape.
Within the Gardens, residents can access the Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Lakeside Garden, and the 10km river promenade. The ActiveSG gym within the park provides free fitness facilities. The new Science Centre Singapore (relocating to Jurong Lake District, opening 2027) will add a further lifestyle attraction within walking distance.
One Honest Caveat
Getting to the MRT — what you need to know
Sora is approximately 1.2 km from both Lakeside MRT (EW26) and Chinese Garden MRT (EW25). The practical solution is a direct neighbourhood bus from Yuan Ching Road — a quick 3-stop connection that takes around 5 minutes. For residents who drive, the AYE is accessible in under 5 minutes.
The connectivity picture improves further with the Jurong Region Line (JRL), planned for completion in 2029, which will bring a new station considerably closer to the development. Buyers with a long-term horizon will benefit from this additional line reducing the transit leg entirely.
